Raveis Kole (Laurie Raveis (Ray-viss) and Dennis Kole) is a singer-songwriter interplay melding Raveis’ caramel smooth, emotive vocals and groove-driven acoustic guitar rhythms with Kole’s fingerstyle counterpoint and harmonic explorations.  Their style is “Artistic, Thoughtful and Connecting” - creating songs that turn left in a right-handed world.  Their new project, “Into Me You See” with Nashville co-producer, Jeff Silverman  (Allman Brothers, Prince, Rick Springfield) casts an organic, natural light on the beauty and grit of the intimately bold tracks.  The album celebrates truth, pain, and transformation weaving a musical tapestry of lyrically focused, rhythmic and harmonic textures which invite the listeners to connect their our experience.  Pure collaborative trust was placed in fellow Nashville musicians; Matthew Burgess (Drum and Percussion), Tim Lorsch (Cello, Viola and Violin), Jeff Taylor (Accordion), Dave Flint (Bouzouki, Ukulele and additional Guitar), Brian Hinchliffe (Bass) and Austin musician Matt Smith (Bass) to enhance the organic feel of Laurie Raveis (Vocal, Guitar, High Octave and Sitar Guitar) and Dennis Kole (Guitar, Resonator, Stringed Instruments and Background Vocals) The “Into Me You See” album is slated for summer 2018.

Raveis Koles’ debut album “Electric Blue Dandelion” spawned three songs that rose into the Top 40 / AC Top 200 Chart (FMQB) and the album charted on college radio (CMJ), Roots Music Report and Radio Indie. Recorded in Austin, Texas by co-producer Matt Smith, the album showcases Raveis’ compelling vocals within a rich tapestry of rhythmic movement and melodic colors.

Raveis Kole offers authentic, visceral lyrics that draw in the listener and engage the senses.  The emotional landscape of each song leads the listener to create their own narrative to the music.  Each song tells a different story, with themes ranging from love and loss to family, transformation, and social commentary. Their music is drawn from an array of traditions: Folk, Rock, Reggae, Latin, and World music - and explores everything from altered tunings to jazz and vocal harmonies to create a fresh infusion that will stimulate your ear and your heart.

5 out of 5 stars! This album has become one of my go-to albums in a very short time.  The songs are extremely infectious, largely due to the thoughtful and insightful lyrical content”
